Rural 5311 Program
The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office has been operating a transport service since 1994. The initial concept was to tpransport elderly residents to doctor visits. Since 2013, we have joined forces with LA D.O.T.D. AND F.T.A. and receive an annual grant that has increased our ability to transport Iberville residents. Our transportation division is now a full service transport facility. Iberville residents can now use our vans to be brought to the store, doctor visits as well as any other need. Our vans hav wheelchair accessibility and we serve all residents of the Parish regardless of their living or financial status.
We transport Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Residents can easily make an appointment to ride by calling our scheduler at 225-685-2417. If you need to cancel, please call within 24 hours of your scheduled pickup.
We have the ability to reach across multiple language barriers by using telelanguage services for those residents with LEP. We are also Title VI Compliant and have procedures in place for those who wish to make a complaint about transportation services. If there is a problem or you would like to make a complaint please contact our office at 225-687-5287 or print a copy of our complaint form off our website and either mail it Iberville Sheriffs Office, c/o Transportation, P.o.
